I am a fully qualified, BACP registered counsellor based in North Tyneside. You will find a warm sense of togetherness in the therapy room with me, as we face together whatever it is that is bringing you to counselling. I will meet you with sensitivity and kindness, so that you can feel safe and supported to explore ways through your challenges.I know from personal experience the growth that comes from finding a balance of clarity and compassion in counselling. I aim to provide the best conditions to nurture your process of becoming unstuck. It would be a privilege to be trusted with your story. Please contact me to get started with a free introductory phone call.

I am deeply receptive person, and this combined with my friendly, non-judgmental curiosity makes a space for people to discover the heart of who they are and what they need. Sincere connection between people enlivens, heals and transforms; let's explore together the self-discoveries that unfold when you are in a caring therapeutic relationship with me.My practice is called Two Wings Therapy as a reminder of the importance of the 'two wings' of awareness: understanding in the mind and in the heart. Just as a bird needs two wings to fly, we need a balance of clarity in the mind and compassionate acceptance from the heart to live fully. We can explore how to find this balance by practising staying connected with mind, heart and body in the therapy space.I provide a safe space for people who have been made to feel unwelcome elsewhere for reasons relating to their age, class, gender, pregnancy or maternity status, disability, race, religion, sex or sexual orientation.
